Berlin-based artist Candice Breitz has created this ecologically sound collection to raise funds in support of Medico International’s campaign, “Emergency Funds for Palestine / Nothilfe für Palästina.” With tens of thousands dead and millions displaced, large parts of the Gaza Strip remain uninhabitable. More than half of Gazan territory remains under occupation by the Israeli army. Meanwhile, in the West Bank, systematic land grabs continue unabated. Medico’s partners continue to provide emergency aid under impossible conditions.
