T-Shirts Unisex Joy Of Peace (Alex Comfort)
T-Shirts Unisex Joy Of Peace (Alex Comfort)
With the February 2024 design, we are celebrating the life of physician, anarchist, poet, antinuclear activist and novelist Alex Comfort who was most famous for writing “The Joy of Sex”. Born in February 1920 and a member of the Committee of 100 direct action group, he regularly broke into BBC newscasts to denounce nuclear weapons and the military.
The design, realised by Berlin based Italian illustrator Anna Piera Di Silvestre, is a take on both Alex Comfort’s anti-militarism and his work as a joy loving novelist. In this sense, make love and f*ck war!
